The second show (at Rioz) we played with them,
they were playing stuff from Wazbones. That's
all I can offer, I'm afraid - fuzzy memories [img]wink.gif[/img]
I've emailed some (Tailz) photos of that night
to their site.
And if I remember rightly, the gig they played
at Cardiff, Bogiez, under the Wazbones name,
they didn't show up for. Although I might be
wrong about this - it seems like decades - well,
eight years - ago.

Sorry i just found the title track I guess it was one of the bonus 5 trax on the japanese version but it kicks some major ass.
Saw them at the Marquee as Wazbones, but it wasn't a patch on the Bezerk tour.
I wasn't a big lover of the Wazbones era of Tigertailz if i'm honest, but the album had it'z momentz like for instance `Tear Your Fucking Heart Out` was a killer song.
The funny thing for me is that I had Y and C and Bezerk first. I played the hell outta each of those. Then, I got Wazbones. It blew me away. I could no longer listen to the either two. They sounded rather weak to me, in comparison. Then, time went by and Wazbones ended up getting more boring while Y and C and Bezerk became more interesting. Odd, I know.
I can understand that. It's not really odd, it was just their attempt to re-invent themselves like everyone else was doing in the mid 90's. It was heavy n fresh at the time when everyone was crying out for something new. Like you say, looking back, the newer stuff didn't really hold my attention very long and I ended up going backwards.
Mmmm, that and Dirty Needles were ok, nothing to get excited about.

The more one molds oneself (into perfection); the
more one chips away at it, the lesser remains of the
self.
I don't think most of their fanbase had a problem
with the 'new' sub-Skoldish/Sputnik/TV Messiah
direction, it just sounded a bit dated as soon as
it arrived, because production wasn't up to much.
Then again, songs like 'Pigface' made most of
the 'Berzerk' content feel like over-blown, windy
bollox.
